After a couple of rainy days, the sun finally came out, enabling us to have a beautiful Easter Sunday. We were able to have Easter dinner with my family, plus Erin’s sister and brother-in-law. We gave our nieces and nephews a kite, and they took turns running across my parent’s cul-de-sac with the kite in tow, hoping to have it catch the wind. We also gave them some bubbles, with which they had a good time.
After dinner, the kids had an Easter egg hunt (courtesy of my sisters). Each kid had his/her own color of egg to look for. The adults also had a color, but Erin and I beat all the other adults outside and found most of our eggs (don’t worry, we shared). After the egg hunt, we shared the story of Jesus, his death and resurrection, and then finished with an egg coloring activity. We had a great time with our family!
