This weekend revolved around flowers, friends, and mothers. For some reason, we always have really busy weekends. I think we try to pack as much as we can into our Saturdays. On Saturday we delivered flowers for a flower shop. Thomas’ mom works at a flower shop on holidays and since it was the day before Mother’s Day it was flower mania. I have never experienced the joys of delivering flowers but it was really fun. It’s a great way to make people happy and we got to spend the whole day together too. Here we are at the end of the day holding one of the few arrangements left (you’ll have to ignore our tired looks and no make-up, we delivered all day long):
After delivering flowers we hung out with some of our friends who just had a baby. He’s such a cutie! We both loved holding him. The picture is a little fuzzy but how can you resist that face?
On Sunday we went and celebrated Mother’s Day with Thomas’ family. We loved celebrating our moms who are both such great ladies. After dinner we played balloon rockets in the backyard. It was hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing. It was so hard getting the balloons blown up but luckily Thomas and a brother-in-law have lungs of steel. In this picture we tried to capture everyone letting off our balloons at the same time.
And that was our weekend!
